Professor Linda Ronnie from the University of Cape Town’s (UCT) Faculty of Commerce presented a Vice-Chancellor’s Inaugural Lecture on Wednesday, 28 September 2022. The lecture was titled “Women in Academia: Thriving or Surviving?”

“I want to call out their names one by one, as a way in which we don’t forget them,” art curator Nontobeko Ntombela said of the 45 black women artists exhibited at the Norval Foundation gallery.
